Teen Theater Intensive

42nd St #1bw

Walnut Hill and The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) are pleased to offer a six-week theater intensive workshop series for teens.

Join Walnut Hill faculty for a six-week, “master class-style” workshop with two unique concentrations that build both on-stage and auditioning skills. Mornings are spent in intensive movement and acting classes, then students spilt into musical theater or acting intensives.

The program is held on Walnut Hill’s campus and is taught by expert faculty and led by Walnut Hill theater faculty member Kirsten McKinney, an award-winning choreographer who has worked on over 200 shows, and has over 20 years teaching experience in the area’s most prestigious high schools and colleges.

The Fall 2015 program will be held Saturdays, 10:00am – 2:00pm, October 31 – December 12 (NO CLASS on November 28). No auditions are required and the $495 tuition fee includes daily lunch during the six-week program. Parents are invited to the last class and a celebratory post-class reception.

Private Vocal Instruction Add-On:

Students can receive private vocal instruction in technical exercises, musical theater repertoire, and audition preparation. Sessions available for one-time instruction and multiple sessions and are scheduled in conjunction with the instructor.  All lessons will be taught by Gina M. Fiore, who teaches at both Walnut Hill and The Boston Conservatory.
